Got a real nice surprise in the mail a few days ago, fellow member sent me a box of chunks of Cycad. this piece will make a nice stand up but if one were to slice it up it looks like it would make some real cool cabs.

What do you all think?

Ha ha ha. Life has a way of doing that. At least for me. It's been getting in the way all week.

Anyway, I AM a cabber, and there is no wy I could bring myself to cut that up. Maybe one slice, like you did, but I'd probably hem and haw for a few months first. Gorgeous specimen.
