My daughter really likes the band Modest Mouse. They've been around for awhile. I don't really listen to them. Anyway, she saw them in concert last night and met him after the show. Turns out he's a rock hound from AZ and really loved the necklace she was wearing. It was one of mine. So after they chatted it up for couple minutes, my daughter took off the necklace and gave it to him. He promptly put it on. Now, we are just trying to snatch an image if one pops up online because my other daughter, who was also there, didn't take a picture! It was this obsidian piece. She has worn it to every concert for the last I don't know how any years.   |

I'm a big fan of Modest Mouse ... but I'm not a fan of her giving up her favorite beautiful necklace...  Still it's a great story - did she tell him it's a Tela Formosa original??? |

No, she was all star struck and only managed to tell him her mom made it. She usually has my cards in her purse, but switched purses for the show. |

I have never heard of Modest Mouse, so I just looked them up. The first picture I found had one of the band members wearing a Stormy Kromer hat. Stormy Kromers are made in Michigan and are my favorite hats, so I know this guy has good taste. Of course, who wouldn’t like that necklace?
