hey kim looks like you got a good conection for some mex rocks --i have a cousin living in mex but i havent got in touch with her yet they have some great rocks there with great color -- im gonna try and get her to ship me some when i talk to her

hmmmmmmm these might be better left for landscaping. i cut a slice off the top right rock and started cabbing it. it seems awful soft so it can't be quartz based. i've got 3 more wheels to go and the polish. the base is gray on this rock where the others are white. i'll try a piece of white too and let you know. i'll post a pic when i get them done.

well any ideas what it might actually be made of - it breaks apart on the saw - very hard to get a slice - ground down very fast on the diamond wheel and fractured in the grinds? would have been pretty if it wouldn't have fractured.  kim |

No idea at all but it is pretty. Is it kind of a purple / lavendar color?

kim if you mean me when i get one of those i give it a try but most times it just keeps showing or by the time you get it out the whole shape that you made it dif haha --hey give it a shot it might be shallow if its not just make it a new shape thats what i do

. it reminds me of the parrot wing without the copper in it - just the turquiose, chrysocolla, and quartz.
