oh that makes me so envious! the leaves and the mountain! we have flat, flatter and flattest here and anything above that was just delivered and will soon be spread out to acquire one of the above looks. but you can see a long way lol.

Cookie, that's so pretty!
The leaves here haven't started turning yet. Heck, it's more like summer than October! It's in the mid to high 80's, even a couple days in the 90s! We're all still in shorts, sleevless shirts and barefoot/sandels! I wish it would stay like this all year round - I hate the cold!!

nice shot, cookie! our leaves are all gone and on the ground. the mower is wrapped up for the winter and the plow is on the truck...makes me jealous of all you out there still in shirt sleeves....we are hunkered down with grim determination to get through another long, cold winter... KD

I'm with you KD our leaves are pretty much gone too, except for the oaks and the mountain ash but they hold their leaves for the winter, guess they need a jacket too. They keep saying we're supposed to have an el nino, man I sure hope so!! Great pic Cookie, my hubby would love to live in the mountains. He'll have to go without me though ;D I'd love to be in a warmer area but I'm still a flat-lander.

I moved here from SE TX along the coast 6 years ago, and I just love it. We have seasons here, not just drought and mosoon. It doesn't get overly cold and snows two or three times a winter, nothing major. But of course we don't know how to drive in it so it's a day off ;D. And the landscape is just gorgeous. People take trips through here this time of year to see the leaves changing. I'm at the top of the driveway and that's the roof of my house, that's how steep it is. Thanks for lookin.
