Found these at a local thrift store for $2.50. Was going to use them for intended purpose, only once, then for lapidary. Then decided it would be better to keep them just for lapidary. I have a lot of crystal display specimens around my house. Proper cleaning has always been a time-consuming task. Was wishing I had some brushes like this, as they make the job a whole lot easier and faster. After taking the photos I used the largest (softest) one on a very large and fragile specimen. It worked great. Plan on using the eyelash brush to clean grit from crystal areas of rocks being tumbled. Am sure the other brushes will come in handy as well. Does anyone else use cosmetic brushes for cleaning rocks? Am sure some of the make up ladies would say I am nuts for using such high quality make up brushes for rocks, lol. 1 2 3 PS. No, a brush does not have to be Vegan to properly clean rocks, lol.
