cheryl i got them from the gem shop and sent them to sands to cut and cab. well actually i cut them to see what colors i was sending and had to be reprimanded lol when john got them. made it harder on him. i won't do it again ... well just a corner or something lol ;D. sands because i have some of your work i know that the pics don't even do justice to actually seeing them in person - which i cannot wait to do!! i'm gonna send you some more and the necklace for christine but now i need you to decide which side left or right you like better. the pendant is through but i haven't varnished the beads, i can't decide which side i like better, and i want more hemp at the top but can only fit one strand through the beads so i've got to knot and add hemp above the beads. i've been on the phone with some teens about length and they say 16" to 18" leaning toward shorter. what length do you think christine would prefer? kim

Heavens to betsy, Sands, those are beautiful! Sure am glad you posted them because it reminded me that I haven't checked on your eBay stuff in a couple of days. I want the Storm's a commin' and the Budstone. Have placed a max bid on both and am gonna be really upset if somebody comes along and steals them from me at the last minute. I plan on being home tomorrow night about the time the auction ends, but have something big and exciting for me in the works and I might forget to check them. My mind may be elsewhere! llana

cher i made all but the bone beads which are the light on the left and the dark on the right - the ones i needed a decision on. called my husband from walmart to tell him to get the beads out of the oven lol and ask what he wanted from the sonic since the oven stays tied up. i'm thinking some vending machines would look good in there lol.

Kim, that is really neat looking! You, Sands, Herm, Cookie, and KD are really turning out some fine work for beginners! A year from now, I'll bet ya'll are turning out some amazing stuff! Heck, it's already amazing considering you have all just been at it for less than a year After a bit more experience, no telling what ya'll will be able to do.
I can copy what I see, but am not very creative. I just wish I had more time to just sit down and do something at one sitting, even if I do just try to copy something! these days I can't even get a walking stick finished. Have more than a few in various stages stacked in a corner and could probably sell them IF I could ever get them finished!

Hey Sands,
Those are some gorgeous Morrisonite cabs ... don't you just love Morrisonite.
Thanks to former President Clinton ... you can not pick any of the material up off of the ground. It was called the "Wind Rivers Act", which now is banned for any collecting of materials from that part of the country!
Thanks for the goodies ... they are totally awesome! Let me know if there is anything that I can get for you.
Take care and great job on the stones!

Rocky, I like the left side too, and I lean kinda goth. Think Christine would like that. Oh, that Morrisonite is to die for! And those of us who have been gifted by Sands know the photo's don't hold a candle to the finished product. That big set stone reminds me of HAL, from 2001. cookie
