Today I learned that a local musician friend is into lapidary. He posted on Facebook a sandwich he had created. I saw some slabs and rough rocks in the background. Asked the question, and yes! Always great to connect with others who love and transform local rocks and are passionate about lapidary work.

I never knew this about him before, so looking forward to more in person discussions about rocks and what they can become.

Listen to the rock. The rock knows its destiny. It will guide you in fulfilling that.

He is in a band with some friends I have had since the 80's.

rocknrob: There was a shop in Portland, don't know if it's still there called Kenny and Zukes who made the absolute best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The problem is every restaurant thinks their sandwich is worth $20 now and seldom makes the grade. Nov 12, 2024 9:53:31 GMT -5
