Wowsers, that Burro Creek is off the charts gorgeous. I think I need to follow you around there next time you go instead of you asking me for directions...lol.

Congrats on the Hxtal success. Love the needles blue. The last one in the burro creek reminds me of calico lace a little bit.

Congrats on the Hxtal success. Love the needles blue. The last one in the burro creek reminds me of calico lace a little bit. Chuck Thanks Chuck! Yeah the last BC was a bit of a one-off piece. The slab was mostly plain purple with some orange looking orbs. If I was smart I would have taken a picture of it before I whacked it all up. Edit to add: This is what the rest of the rock looked like. Not all that attractive if you ask me. I actually have a second preform just like the one posted so I guess it was a two-off.

Beautiful! I love them all including the calico lace wanna be. But, DAMN that needles blue is fine! And, great save with the hxtal, too. I have one to work with tomorrow.

Nice! I also like them all, especially the Congo shatuckite. I'm impressed with the save you did with the chrysocolla in quartz.

Great lineup, can't say I favor one over the others. They all have so much depth and character. Super set, Tommy.

I am going to have to beg you for the burro creek locale when I finally make it down that way. I can find the general area, but damn you are finding some beauties.

Nice cabs. Is the Needles blue from thundereggs? Thanks. No it's from host rock that has been invaded/brecciated by the gem silica/chrysocolla chalcedony/agate - not sure of the correct geological terminology.
