For anyone out there who is not familiar with what this thread is about here is the flyer. Master cab cutter. This guy does beautiful work. He can ID almost anything. This lady had really nice jewlery and fosils. This guy had a lot of Flourite and Calcite and other stuff that he said he imported from Mexico. Great prices. Nice specimens. Really nice slabs and cut material. I bought a 4 lb. chunk of Oceanstone from them. A trailer load and then some. Brazilian Agates, Pet wood and some really nice Optical grade Quartz Crystals. I can't remember all that he had. He has an Ebay store. Enter the URL stores.ebay.com/riverbendlapidaryto see what he has up. Tell him I sent ya. More of Riverbend Lapidary. This is me with my little card table full of pet wood and a hodge podge of other mineralistic oddities. Here is the stuff I bought. A chunk of Flourite, some Calcite, that big four lb. block of Oceanstone all ready to be clamped in my saw, a piece of Brazilian Agate, a little piece of Moss Agate, one of the Optical Grade Quartz Crystals and that jug in the background is 7 lbs. of plastic pellets that I got from Riverbend for $1 a pound. The only thing I wasn't able to find was a walking cane with polished rocks on it. ;D Well maybe next time. Bob

Hi Bob ::waves:: Nice to meet you! ;D Looks to me like you were in hog heaven at that place. You really got some nice stuff there. I love the color of that Oceanstone, it's gorgeous. C'mon man, let get with the cutting and see what you produce ... need more eye candy. LOL Sure wish I could get to a place like that, trouble is, I wouldn't have enough $$$ to make me happy. Great pics, thanks for sharing.

Sands, I've been seeing Oceanstone on here alot and always wanted to get some so I just couldn't resist that nice cut piece when I saw it.
Rocky, that's really 25 cents. Everybody always puts a quarter in their pics for scale but I didn't have one so I had to use some change.

Hey Bob,
You done better that I would have done ...
I would have had to stand next to the truck and try to pick up stones from the bottom of the bed to get better photo's ...
I have heard of that rock show and we might try to get down there next year. I have had just too much going on this year to get to go anywhere.
It's good to put a face to a name ... glad to meet ya!
John
