Hi....! this is the "restringing" job i most recently acquired. i take no credit for the cabochon nor the setting, but if anyone can ID the stone, it would be most appreciated. it's irridescent sort of, some blues and greens that really show in the sunlight.... the owner of the cab had me redesign the beading so she can wear it again.....what do you think? thanks for your opinions...i hope she likes it! I think that you did a wonderful job on the beadwork. It matches the mood of the cabochon setting perfectly. Nice work!

KD, that's a wonderful piece. It's been said, but the beading works so well with the cab. Great job. I just put some Labadorite slabs into polish tonight. Hope the outcome is half as nice.

Krazy, that is indeed Labradorite. I like the play of pearls with the silver. One sign of a good stringer is the ends. Your ends are very wearable. It looks good. I also like using toggle clasps. My signature is three 2mm beads with a 3X5 rice bead and one more 2mm. I use that end as I have clumsy fingers, and most of our customers like that end. Jenne uses a slightly different signature. When I make one of those pearl designs, I drill out one of the pearls and make it into a ring. I have my own design for that. It adds to the sale value. Good work.

(i am so ego-puffed that Doc liked it (and posted) too.........)
i got an email today from a lady i'd given a necklace to a few months back, she has received many compliments on it, (she said) and now wants to buy some more for gift giving at Christmas....and wants me to make her a bracelet to match her necklace....
can hardly get my head through the doorhole.....
