RIP IPK. 50 micrograms is next to nothing. Next to nothing is too much when the world depends on you being perfect. Here's a couple pics I took of the watt balance at NIST while I attending an advanced mass seminar a while back Yes indeed it's underground in a room that doubles as a vacuum chamber.
