Happy thanksgiving. May you and yours have a wonderful day and stay safe. Perseverance paid off. Some of the Lakers were on their 3rd run. These all had a partial polish before I received them. Say, through pre-polish. Once again, a mix of cabs and tumbles, including some things that should have not been tumbled together. Photos do not show all of the shine on these. All done in a HF Rotary 3 lb. tumbler barrel. Best shine I have ever got in modern tomes. The tumbles started in 60/90 SIC. The heavily pitted and very rough tumbles were ground down some prior to tumbling with the Dremel and diamond file. The cabs started in 120/200 SIC. Then on to pre-polish, 500 AO. Next was pre-polish 1200 AO. Then 12,000 AO polish. Then Rapid polish. Each stage had a 2-24 hour Borax cleaning. Media used was 1/8” gravel, that had been through 6 previous tumbles. Specific stage polishing pellets. A few Pearler beads, stage specific for through medium. After that only polish pellets for the remaining stages. Started the rough tumbles on 9-15. Additional photos after 6 more hrs. of Borax tumble. Everything: Favorite cabs: Other cabs: Pet Wood: Lakers: Other Agates 1: Other Agates 2: I love how the large Oolictic Agate turned out. The Rest: A mix of Amethyst, Granite, Jaspers, Quartz and Unknowns. The Amethyst survived, as did the Granite. Thinking I was able to dial in this blend. Yes, I left some pits, but it was required to prevent taking certain items down to nothing. Decrease in size for some was about 50%. Appreciate any comments on the good, the bad and the ugly. Any suggestions on how to clean the rest of the polish off other than spending hours with a toothbrush would be appreciated. Thanks.

Oops, just noticed I included a Laker with the Pet Wood and included a Laker with "the rest". That is what limited vision does to a person, lol.
