I know that the Rockpicker family misses their dog dearly. I know Tommy sometimes wishes his was still this tiny. What wonderful dogs. DSC01658 by mrk525, on Flickr DSC01657 by mrk525, on Flickr

Thank you for this thread, Mark K . We miss Lucy, as well as all the others that enriched our lives before her. Although we don't plan on having another dog anytime soon, it may happen down the road a ways. Food, vet bills, accessories, etc., expensive!
In the last couple months, we have been out twice camping. Both times were for rock hounding. Much as I know dogs love to go camping and rock hounding, they need constant attention (yes, I was one of THOSE moms, lol) and care. As much as I loved all my dogs, without having one (or two or three), we are free to travel without having to worry about taking them everywhere we go, or board them somewhere. We have been set free!
Although I am not around her all of the time, I get to see/visit/play with my sister's 11+ month old puppy, Grayce, at least once a week. As my dad said the other day, it is like having grandkids - You can visit with them, and then just leave when you get tired of them, lol.
Photos taken of Grayce yesterday.
The pretty blue eyes she had as a puppy long gone.
Scott, you are right, Lucy was a good girl. Photo taken when I got her, at about 3 1/2 months old.
At Ocotillo Wells, about 8 months old.
And then there is the other dog (the one at the beginning) that this thread was about - Charley.
Q 2015 group. Charley just an armload back then!
Charley drooling over spheres rock shop in Utah from thread Guess the mileage game/Utah trip report
But my favorite Charley pic - My, what big white teeth you have!
Thanks for the pics, guys. Jean

It was a fun few days. Do you mean the group photo? It was one Tommy/Eva took using their camera with timer on a tripod.
Tommy had emailed me all the pics they took.
Will PM you the link.

I got it! That was one of the best few days that I have ever had on vacation. You all made it special. I wish we could do that every year.
