A product of my tumbling are what I call slablets- pieces 1/8-1/4" thick by one or two inches. Some of these would make nice pendants. I would like to drill these for bails but do not know the procedure. If anyone has a method to do this they wouldn't mind sharing I would really appreciate it. Please be as specific as possible regarding the equipment you use. Thanks.

Foredom or Dremel. Core drill or other diamond drill. In water. Slowly. Lower the drill, raise it. Let water wash out the hole. Repeat. Drill should be on a flex shaft or drill press.
Hole should be about two mm from edge. Hole should be big enough for your cord or jump ring.
Good luck!

The only thing I would add to what Pat posted would be to drill half-way through on one side and then flip the stone over and drill through from the other direction. This will help prevent chip outs on the back side when drilling all the way through from one direction. You can align the holes to be drilled from both sides with a small pair of outside calipers.
