here is one i made for my friend's birthday (she loves purple).... close up of the stone a mexican lace special and a close up i did a similar one to this a few weeks back with more green, same basic colors, i love this stone, i don't know what it is for sure, probably some kind of jasper...maybe i should have a "name that necklace" contest? thanks for peeking, KD

I like them all but especially that last one...the sunset really comes out in the stone. Nice job.

Really nice, I love that purple one too. What kind of beads are those? I have a girlfriend who loves purple, not that I have any purple rocks polished but I do have some, be nice to match the beads.

good eyes, Kim....yes the frosted (matte) beads are Druk glass beads from Fire Mountain. the are very light and also quite economical.
Cher, the purple ones i got at a bead store in Oregon last year, but they are just a seed bead, i'm sure you could find them in the FM catalog.
thanks for all the kind remarks!
