Instead of buying ear wires, try making them.
I have found, using 1 3/4" of .030 14K20, and .925, making an unbacked loop on one end, installing a 2mm., bead and bending around one of the pens you find in a bank. The one with the three circles close to the tip. Take the very end and using duck bill pliers bend exactly the width of the pliers at a 40 degree angle.
