I have to tell you all, our dear Krazydiamond is just the nicest person. I just got home a little bit ago, tired, sad and depressed ... wishing I was still playing with my little grandsons. I cried for miles after watching my 2 yo grandson waving and calling "bye bye namma, bye bye". (Yeah, I'm such a wuss when it comes to them.) Anyway, after 220 miles I came home to find the neatest surprise waiting for me. KD made me this beautiful necklace out of some of the Prairie Agate I sent her. It's just stunning!!! Thank you so much KD, you really made my day!! I am in awe of your talent for mixing and matching the beads to a stone. It was such a fun surprise to come home to and needless to say, I was like a kid at Christmas. I totally missed the card inside, just started dancing around showing it off to my hubby and looking for my camera so I could show you all here. Thank you again KD, you're the best!!! Cher A little closer view.

*smile* Yes ... and am still running to the mirror to look at it.
I'm going to sit down with the FireMountain catalog tomorrow and order some beads to match some of my stones. I just have to give it a try, only thing I'm worried about is trying to drill a hole. I did get some epoxy this weekend at Walmart and also some copper wire so I can practice wire wrapping. One day I will have something to show .... winter's coming so I'll have lots of time.

Well, did that just make your day or what!! I finally sat down with the FM catalog and ordered a bunch of stuff to work on now that winter is here also. I've not been happy with my wire wrapping attempts,,but hope they improve using a wig jig. Also know what you mean about drilling holes. I tried the other night and did't have much luck, but have since gone to the hardware store for super glue and super glue releaser so I can try MichiganRocks' method of drilling. Maybe by spring I will have learned how to do some of this stuff!! KD, that's so pretty and so nice of you! llana

Beautiful, Cher! Way to go KD! You da master!!! ;D
BTW what kind of equipment do you need to drill those little holes? I've been gluing those double and triple leaves with eyelets and I've lost several stones that refused to stay put!
