AGREE! One was crawling up our window years ago. New to me. Neighbor came over. She said I was white. What’s wrong? I showed her. She put it in a coffee can. Awful!! 1000 would be s nightmare.

Not too many types of critters faze me, but that is one! I have such a visceral dislike for them (they look so alien!), they just totally creep me out, make my skin crawl. (spazface)

No question that they trigger a repulsive reaction when digging or turning a compost pile. I think they look like slimy, decaying flesh. Can stink, too, but do no harm.
