Those look good enough to eat just like that. Looking forward to the eye candy after you tumble them.

Bots took me second. Couldn’t figure out why you’d want to tumble botryoidal agates. Then I looked at the picture and realized you meant Botswanas. 😂
Great looking mix. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Those two pinkish halves in the bottom row are cool. I can't wait to see how they turn out.

Definitely some yummy cuts Chuck! Top left split with a single water line ribbon flowing though it looks very cool! Almost 3-D effect.

Spent a little time at the trim saw making tumbler food today. Mostly Brazilians with some Bots mixed in. Thanks for looking Chuck When ever you post the 'after' pic, let us know your recipe as well. I tried some small thunderegg halves in the lotto, turned out ok, but did undercut a bit near the agate/matrix transition, rounded the edges a bit. Imagine some of those problems will be non existent with the solid agate material. Have to experiment some more.

The last time I did a batch of brazilians and bots like this I tumbled the outsides till flawless. That is a lot of work but they come out great. Recently I cut a bunch of mexican agates in half and tumbled them but left the outsides natural. That is a quick and easy tumble. None of the ones I have done that way have the varying hardness issue you find with thundereggs but I would say the least of amount of time in the tumbler the better off you are. These mexican agates never went in a rotary. I started in 120/220 in a vibe and only ran 2 days per stage. This link shows the front and back of a couple bots and brazilians that were tumbled in stage one till flawless. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/81092/bots-brazilians-moreChuck

They need some closeups-especially that 2nd from left
I think you are so right when the less amount of time in the tumbler the better. I noticed that the bots just kept getting worse the longer they were in.
