To make a short story long, I make these every year. My grandma made them every year. She died six years ago and was pretty close with my dad- which is ironic because she was my mom's mom and my parents divorced when I was 3 or 4. Anyway I make them and send them to my dad for Christmas.

Wonderful. I make rosettes with my G-Grandma's irons and recipe. I love family traditions.

Wonderful. I make rosettes with my G-Grandma's irons and recipe. I love family traditions. I do, too. They help us to remember. However, I have the electric variety I would love to taste them off of the irons I'll bet they're delicious!

Yes they are. The irons are well used and loved. Perfectly seasoned. Heat, dip in the batter and place in oil. Just hold them in the oil until the rosettes fall off. All I do when done is wipe them off and store. The iron handles even detach.
My daughter loves them too.
