Were those tumbled together? If so, great results. There is a mix of hardness going on which usually does not work for beginners.

That was 3 or 4 batches, I thought the Kambaba Jasper was harder than it was so I had some issues with that and there were some others I picked up on the beach that I thought were agate and they were not. I was just trying to read and figure it out on my own. I learned a lot that was for sure.
