KD, those are beautiful, as usual!
What is that thingy between the stone and necklace? A spacer of some sort, I suppose, but what kind? I like those! Also like the ones on the Mex Lace necklace. What size are the beads?

Is that some of that Prairie Agate? Man that looks almost orange. That rock had lots of different shades in the inside. I love the beading on the that snakeskin ... awesome job.

llama, the thingy at the wire that holds the stone is a little seed bead to protect the string from the wire....i knot at regular intervals and try to get that fairly tight right there....
the mex lace beads, the largest ones are 6mm rose quartz, there are some 4mm rose quartz and pink malaysian jade (looks orange in the photo) and a few 3mm watermelon malaysian jade....
thanks for all your comments!

Hey, KD, I am feeling a lot better now because the beads I got are 3mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, etc. They just look so much smaller in person! Got lots of seed beads - the tiniest things I have ever seen! But the thingy I was talking about is the silver bell looking thing on each end of the beads. I know they are spacers, but what are they called. They are neat looking. Do you take the wire that goes through the stone all the way back up thru the spacer and bead and then do the twist thingy? Or do you do the twist thingy at the stone end too and hide it under the bell looking thing? Questions, questions!! ;D llana

i do the twist thingy up a few twists then clip the wire just enough to hide with a bead....you need a bead with a larger diameter hole to actually hide the ugly parts. before Kim came up with the hide-a-bead technology i was trying to hide that part with wire wrap....Kim's way is a lot better and cleaner looking i think.
glad you are happier with what you got, i use an Opti-Visor a lot both with drilling and beading, and yes, one day i am going to end up in public with this device on my head getting funny farm looks...........

really lovely KD...I like the shark tooth aspect of a couple of them. Without the beads, I'm thinking those would be good pendants for guys as well. Just something to think about.
