. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I am intrigued by the pattern of Uranium deposits across the US and the time of the deposits during the Morrison Formation. A compilation of reports was provided in 1957. pubs.usgs.gov/bul/1030a/report.pdfContents: Contents of the first section: Take a look at the patterns.

My dad had a Geiger counter when we lived in Colorado back in the sixties. I have a book about uranium from the same period. As is self evident, he didn't make a lucky strike.

Uranium was found in sample drills/digs in far Northern WI, Penokee Range, a few years back. The mining company decided not to pursue further activities in the area due to public outcry. One of the largest open pit mines in the USA was planned.
The company had said that mining Uranium in that location posed no health risk, despite the location, very close to Lake Superior and tributaries.
There were later piles of radioactive rocks in remote locations. According to local geologists, the Uranium rich rocks posed no health risk when beneath the Earth's surface. No risk, other than increased Radon levels in some houses. Once the rocks containing Uranium were brought to the surface was when they became more dangerous. Some piles were located near/on Tribal lands, where hunting/gathering took place.
Uranium levels near these rock piles were monitored at dangerous levels. The mining company reportedly returned these rocks to where they came from.
I tried to find a link to more info, but all I could find were horror reports from Environmental groups who were opposed to the mine.

I have often wondered how the dinosaurs fared when all that uranium suddenly appeared in their area.
What mutations occurred?

The areas in Russia where uranium was mined and refined are considered to be the most polluted areas in the world.

The official explanation of where the uranium came from is Why didn't the uranium leach out during the billions of years before or the millions of years after the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation? The uranium, vanadium, Niobium and tantalum ALL showed up at the same time as the Upheaval Impact. I don't believe in coincidences.
