A very nice looking Homer Tom , I bet he's never far from you , like our black lab is always in close proximity to me where-ever I am in the house or the garden. No , my dog does not get into the house . She's an outdoor type haha.

Thanks folks for looking at Homer!! Yes he does get jusy about anything he wants weather we want him to have it or not!! We addopted Homer a few years ago on the day before they were going to do him in!!He was abused severly ans wasn't all that friendly with men.He took a shine to the Mrs and we watched him lick a little fellow to death! I KNEW in time I could win him over so we brought him home.Who ever beat him must have been a real rat because it was a very long time (over a year) before Homer would fully trust me. Now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,He's always got his head up my butt,,,,and I love it!! Tom

Kim,,,, I can't remember the name of the organization we got Homer from but they are all volunteers. There ere about 40-50 dogs there that day but Homer caught our eye even before we knew he was headed down the road. I don't know if you have ever owned a Beagle but they are something else!! The organization has a woman they call "The Beagle Lady" and she had 13 of them at her home waiting for adoption!! God Bless her and her family. Homer is a breed of Beagle called a Harrier Beagle and is a lot bigger then the regular Beagles. He weighs about 40 lbs and with all he gets into to eat i'm surprised he doesn't weigh a ton!! He's the type of dog that you either love him,,,,,, Or shoot him!! We love him so he'll stay!! Tom

i wish i could take them all - we have 15 animals now but had more earlier this year. we've had some goats die and a lady came and got the rabbits and they now run free in her backyard which makes me happier and them too probably. i'd have set my rabbits free if i thought they'd survive. we have foxes and they wouldn't have made it one night. or my own dogs might have gotten them given the chance.
