Hi All! I have been asked to re-post some of the pictures of my work so the newer members could see it. I'm honored to do so. I will start with this intarsia trivet. It is made from Brazilian agate and obsidian with a petrified wood frame. It measures about 4 1/2 inches square. Backlit on a night light stand: Thanks for looking!

That's amazing!! How do you polish something like that? With a vibrating lap? Thanks for posting and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

That's beautiful! Do you use it or is it for decorative purposes only?

Mindboggling how you go about assembling those fabulous intarsia works of yours!
If I win the lottery I’d commission you to craft Arizona Flag Heart like what's on the RTH Quartzite teeshirt. Don’t hold your breath for that to happen. But it is rock’n idea hint hint

Thanks for your comment ! Good memory! RTH had a good-size group when I was last down there and we had a good time.

Seeing it again- it looks 3-D. Such beautiful precision. Hat's off to fine craftsmanship.
