Hello All, The focal piece for this one came from a thunderegg. Reminded me of a geyser I saw in Yellowstone National Park years ago. The framing materials are (from the inside moving outward) tigereye, basanite, polka dot, and jasper. It measures about 1 1/2 inch across. Thanks for looking & Happy New Year!

Nice. Bit of an optical illusion with the way the shading of the Tiger Eye frame plays against the other material, too. My eye thinks it is moving slightly

What they said - very beautiful, and great workmanship - square corners, straight lines. Love the choice of colors too.

Garry, The image is hypnotic if you keep staring at it, as are all works of art. I hope you don't mind but I lifted the picture and did a micro zoom on it and like your other pieces the joints were really, really fine. That said, while the picture as you displayed it reminded me of an asteroid impact which, in and of itself is awesome, it got even better. I flipped the image vertical and was instantly transformed up to a 500 mile high view over the southern tip of the USA, while looking down on cloud cover. You can even see the small islands off shore and a beach running around the edge of the land. This is what I saw, can you feel it, the exhilaration? I guess it's all in how you look at things. FRIGGIN AWESOME. More please. Cheers, johnw
