Great idea, those are cool looking pendants. Once in a great while I find an old Skeleton key metal detecting. Anyone wanting to try their hand at this neat idea might check E-Bay, just saw a group of 69 pieces for $12.99. If my wife starts up wrapping again I will get her to give this idea a try !

That is excellent! Opal is my favorite stone, and that's the coolest setting I've ever seen. Those pieces are great.

Wow! What a creative way to use those old skeleton keys. I'm gonna have to look for some and try my hand at it.

Just wow. My Mom collected old keys when she was still alive, I think I still have 4 or 5 of them. If I ever learn to cab/wrap I'm stealing your idea! They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all.

Those are very creative and beautiful! You did a great job on them. You could probably do something similar with a modern heavy-duty key.

I meant to ask you before, how big are the opals you're using in those keys? Did you cut them yourself? Thanks!

They vary from 8mm to a 10x14mm and some I cut, others I don't
