Happy Turkey day to all! We had a wonderful day. Here's some photo ops ;D My Mom put together all of these wonderful dishes by herself ( we all pitched in as we arrived, but it was her recipes) Here's a great idea for reading recipes as you cook. Mom donloaded most of them from the internet, had never done any of them before, and they were all phenominal! Heres my step daughter Marlena and my cousin Lauren. And Lauren modeling some earings I made for her. Happy Thanksgiving to all! We had a wonderful day, hope you did too! Luck, love and Blessings everyone! cookie

Kim, When I showed them to her I said "Do you like them?" "Yeah" "Do you want them?" "Yeah" "They are yours" "Really?" "Yeah" (As she looked at her mother:)) "That was too easy" I told her I just wanted to get my peices out there, to be seen, and she gave me a big hug! Lovely day!

Great pics Cookie! Looks like ya'll had a real feast. You daughter is a cutie, as is your neice. Bet she has to beat the boys off with a stick! The earrings were great on a plate, but even better actually on someone!
I see an idea with the coat hanger recipe holder!!!
The driveway rocks are great lookin'. Can't wait to see them finished. Your mom may have a new job - collecting driveway rock to send to us!
We had so much confusion at my sister's yesterday, I didn't take a picture one! Tooo busy keeping the babies occupied so the moms could get everything ready, then too busy eating. After everybody got full, they scattered here and there. I learned a long time ago NOT to ask the boys to sit still long enough for pictures! You'd think I asked them to jump off a bridge into freezing water or something!!
Off to work- UCK!

Let me see if I can remember... What appears to be mashed potatoes is rubarb and potatoes. I just remember Mom dumping is ALOT of whipping cream, and they were to die for. Apples, pears and grapes. Congealed cranberries. Oh, and on all the plates, Pumkin soup (tasted like Lobster bisque, YUM!) Brocolli and yellow bell pepper salad. .Stuffing. Turkey. Ham (with cloves). Corn something (?) And, of course, fresh green bean casserole. That last dish, I'm not sure, but I'm sure it was good! Thanks for the compliments on the earrrings, I needed that. And Marlena is my sweety girl ;D

Hello Cookie,
You can definitely see the family resembellance (I need a spell checker!) ... your cousin looks a lot like you.
Boy that is one great looking Thanksgiving Day table!
Mine consisted of 9 packets of McDonalds Ketchup (we mixed then with water and had tomato soup) I hit a bird on the way to town ... so when I got hope we had some meat for the table. A glass of water with a teaspoon of sugar in it (we were pretending it was wine) and carrot out of the garden (at least what was left when the bunny rabbits left it alone). What a meal ... meat, part of a vegetable and soup! Pretty good year this year!
