I am looking for the small drive gear that goes on the motor shaft of a GMT - 3, 2371, Star Diamond Tumbler. Not sure what the 2371 number is for. Have done searching and so far nothing. Can parts be even found anymore ? Trying to get started back into tumbling and have this antique tumbler. The drive gear with cooling blades, made of plastic and most likely dried out. If anyone has a parts manual or any info on where I may get parts, I would greatly appreciate it. Being just 29 years ole like my Mam'ma Adelle Johnson is catching up with me. I may just have to do some major "ciphering" to rig it so it works. The unit was given to me about 15 years ago and the motor runs. Started up this morning and a grinding noise started. Saw that the drive gear on the motor with fan was destroyed. Any help would be greatly appreciated !

I have realized that thru "much" searching, parts can not be got anymore. Will have to "cipher" now what to do. Might just save the motor and chunk the rest of the parts..... !

I seriously doubt that the gear is or was made specifically for Star Diamond. If you go to McMaster Carr for instance you can get just about any size made you just have to supply the correct dimensions. They show you what and where to take the measurements.

I have a Star Diamond tumbler that turn two containers at a time, that I'm looking for one of the bars for, but it's otherwise all there. I'd consider selling for parts.

I found the proper gear that goes on the motor output shaft (smaller gear).
Specs are: 24 diametric pitch 12 tooth 3/16" bore
Hopefully this helps someone down the line.
The larger gear (going off memory) is 3.5" diameter 85 tooth
Cheers!

Correction, the larger gear that goes on drive roller is 3.5" diameter 84 tooth (not 85 tooth)
