Hi All, As requested (for the newer members) here is an agate fruit bowl I made awhile back. It is about 10 inches in diameter. The material I used is red moss agate from Yellow Hill (WA), green India moss agate, yellow Graveyard Point plume agate, and Wind River turtleback agate (WY). Notice that the red moss agate pieces on the side of the bowl come out to a point which made the making of this piece a little more challenging. Each piece was individually polished front & back before assembly. This is the most time-consuming project I have done. I'm not sure how many hours, but someone who kind of keeps tabs on me thinks I have about 350 hours into it. I took a video of this piece while rotating on the turntable, but sadly couldn't post it because it was too large (58 MB). Thanks for looking!

Unbelievable workmanship on that piece. The light shining through it is amazing! I can only image what it looks like in person.

Garry, awesome work yet again. So why do you keep torturing us with these magnificent one offs? From my perspective I would love to see a display of all you achievements at one time or conversely you can build up the tension and just give us a few each week. It's all good. Cheers, johnw

Thanks Ali, Robin, Larry, Pat and John for your comments.
John, it's a long story, but we lost many photos in a computer glitch. We eventually got most of them back, but they don't seem to be in any order. So, I plan on posting a few a week as I can find them. We have thousands of photos saved so it really takes a lot of time to go through all the weddings, birthday parties, vacations, etc. To ferret out the rock photos.

Garry, Amen, been there and experience the pains of lost picture when I purchase a hand held scope that uploaded 5 years of memories and lost them. I worked with the supplier of the scope and recovered most but lost forever 2017, vacations, anniversary's birthdays Christmas the lot. The heartache is profound. OK so I can understand the reason for not showing us a bunch all at one time. But if you can, more of the intarsia please. Each one is a sight to behold, really. Cheers, johnw

Myself and a few others asked Garry to post pictures of his beautiful creations so we could see the details close-up. He has been generously obliging us. Thanks, mossyrockhound!

I almost missed this! Wow! That belongs in a museum. It is really beautiful. Knowing what it took to make it makes it even more of a treasure. You are DA MAN!
