Are you sure you only put 350 hours into that one? Incredible work bud.. you are a master of stone!

A fantastic project! When can expect another one? Bob 350 hours, less 8 hours sleep seems to indicate we should see another in 22 days. Perhaps I'm too ambitious. 😉

That is a most amazing work of art and certainly a labor of love.

Tremendous work Garry! As someone who has done a fair amount of woodworking I can easily recognize your workmanship. Do you have a trim saw that can handle the miters or did you build your own jigs?

A fantastic project! When can expect another one? Bob Thanks Bob! I'm currently in "storm recovery mode", dealing with downed trees and the damage caused by them. Worst of all was losing my "fur buddy" (Scooter) during this time. He had been at my side, night and day, for the last 7 1/2 years. Anyway, it's going to be awhile before I start another project. Thanks frane, lookatthat, beefjello, @mohs, NRG,& krazydiamond for your comments as well.

Tremendous work Garry! As someone who has done a fair amount of woodworking I can easily recognize your workmanship. Do you have a trim saw that can handle the miters or did you build your own jigs? Thanks for the compliment! I used a metal "L bracket" bolted to my grinding unit to get the correct miter angles. The trim saw would have made too many chips along the edges so I trimmed about 1/8" away from the line and ground the rest using the "L bracket" to get the right angle.

Gotcha, completely makes sense. Once again wonderful job. Sorry about Scooter, In the past year we lost both of our boys (cats- George and Junior) after 20 and 18 years respectively. Still very sad about it.

Did you firstly create a 3D model using a software like AutoCAD or such?

Did you firstly create a 3D model using a software like AutoCAD or such? Thanks Adrian. Guaranteed - no AutoCAD used on this one. All miter angles were done by eye.
