I recently built myself a sphere machine and made my first batch of spheres.

These ones are petrified wood.

The first 3 are jasper. The bottom left one was a vein of crystal in a basalt lava flow. I'm not sure what it is, I just thought it looked cool when I found it:)

The black one is full of garnets. Not sure what the brown one is, I got it from a garage sale.

Now that they're done, I can see some of the deeper scratches that didn't buff out. I guess I didn't let them run long enough in the medium grits, so I'll have to go repolish those ones. It's been a fun learning experience so far.
