wtg, llana! i have some of those gold beads too, i think! yes, when in doubt, longer is better, i've sold two now that people came back and wanted it longer, like you can just add and inch without restringing the whole dan thing!
i like the colors your used and of course, the dofongy makes it a one of a kind piece! DO leave the bead board out, the more you do, the batter you get, like almost anything in this world.
i use an Opti visor quite a bit for setting up my drill and for beading and wire wrapping. looks funny but it sure does help.
