I put this at the beginning of the thread, too UPDATE: I have the sad task of announcing that Tommy, aDave and I have found some information which leads us to believe that JohnW has passed away. We are waiting for confirmation, but it appears to be so. Tommy will make a separate announcement soon. I had many PMs with him about the contest. He was really enjoying it and was planning to do several new ones. He was very generous with a great sense of humor and imagination. He will be missed. Tommy has posted here: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/86568/rip-own-john-deakin-waring

RIP, johnw. We are grateful for the short time you spent here, and for sharing your zoo with us. Your humor and vision will certainly be missed. Wishing peace and comfort for your family. Jean
