My sister who lives in Arizona sent me a Xmas package....this is what was in it.. A pack of tumbled stones... A slab..center is clear crystal and looks nice with light behind it...the brown stone is a "worry stone". and three arrowheads she picked up on her property.... Now I ask ya..what more could a man want from his sister ? Pho

that's pretty cool, Pho....is that an ID chart with the tumbled stones too? that will be helpful!
she found those arrowheads in her property? sounds like you need to go visit your sister!

Christmas Gift?? And who's so bad they couldn't wait until Christmas to open it? ;D That is an really nice present, even if you did open it too early. I'm with KD on this one though, you should be visiting your sister, those arrowheads are really nice!

Well I did have to open the box to check for damage during mailing. Yes..I have visited my sister a few times and have yet to find one arrowhead...lots of rocks but no arrowheads. Going back in the spring and look again..this time I hope I can spend more time looking around. Last time it was snowing and wet and very cold...not ideal weather for rockhounding or hunting for arrowheads. Will post pics of any arrowheads I find. Yes..the package of stones are all labled...very nice agates too....will make a display box for them and any future packages she sends me....she said she gets them all the time in the mail from some company in Flordia.

I remember when I was a kid my mom told me if I didn't behave, Santa would bring me a box of rocks. Hmmm, looks like you were a very bad boy to get a box of rocks. You lucky guy! Those are really nice. That agate slab is beautiful. Pretty cool arrowheads too! llana

OWWWWW, I love St. Johns! I spent at few days there about 10 years ago. Of course, I am sure it is like many of the former wonderful, quiet little towns that have been ruined by "progress". I spent three months in Sedona in '86 and it was one of the most beautiful, serene, wonderful places I had ever been. When I was there is '95 it was an overcrowded, ugly tourist trap. Sometimes progress is NOT a good thing! Has St.Johns met the same fate? llana

St Johns has more than 5 people living there so it is way too big for me...... Will be going back to my sisters place this spring for a little rock hunting and hopefully find a arrowhead or two. Not much out there but I like that area anyway...

It must feel wonderful knowing your sister loves you and knows EXACTLY what to pick out for Christmas presents. I can only hope that someday this will ring true for me.... I always end up with socks! lol Harry
