I've been using epoxy resin to seal my labels on bottles to use as wind chimes, but some labels have either soaked up the resin and/or became splotchy.
As you can see the two identical bottles, only the left is sealed with epoxy. Is there another sealant that won't do this? Thank you for reading my post!

That's a tough one, avenueiarts. Since the labels are paper, they're going to soak up anything liquid unless they're already coated with something. All I can think of is to maybe put a piece of clear contact paper over the label before you use the resin.

How about Permalac NT?
Good luck.

Modpodge. I read about that when making pendants with paper in frames and a resin dome. Modpodge (several layers) will seal the paper adequately. Warning though: some of my pieces have yellowed over the 4 or so years I've had them. Not sure if that's the resin or the modpodge. But the people in the resin pendants tutorials on youtube said to use modpodge.
