Thank you, sir! Supposed to be 38 here today- pretty sure that's plenty warm enough to get in the unheated garage and cut some rocks at lunch We'll see... 51 tomorrow then 20 again on Thursday. I have to take advantage of decent weather any chance I get!

It has warmed up to 7 degrees F. now. This is the best weather we are expecting for the next 2 days. Heavy snow coming in this afternoon... I'm thinking about 15 inches. Unfortunately followed by strong winds; I'm guessing about 25-30 mph here with stronger gusts. Weather forecasts are saying less snow and wind, but they have been wrong for our area all winter. According to last night's projections, we are only supposed to get 6-12 inches. 12-18 inches is supposed to stay about 2 miles away, HA! We're not included in the area that has a high wind warning (35 mph, gusts of 50) but I wouldn't be surprised if we get that, too.

Yuck. So ready for winter to be over. 12-18" with wind isn't good at all!

Thank you. Sometimes (especially lately being so cold) when I find myself out trudging through the mud in the rain or snow, poking my fingers with cactus and tripping over rocks in the dark I wonder what the heck I'm doing out there. Then I find beautiful stones and that all goes away.

Great photos! I wish I could do as well! Thank you. Sometimes my pictures turn out ok, sometimes they don't. I attribute that to end user error on my part! These were actually just on my desk with my phone and I have the crappiest lighting in here so I was a bit surprised they turned out.

Haha, no, not really. I have two of the fluorescent tube bulbs that are supposed to provide more "natural" lighting at work. And one is out.

Yuck. So ready for winter to be over. 12-18" with wind isn't good at all! Just an update -- ended up with 12.5-13 inches here, then it warmed up enough for a few hours (with a little sun) to settle the snow before the winds picked up, so drifting is not bad. Just a few trouble spots.

Just another agate, waiting for it's destiny... Yeah, I'm still bored. Dang winter.
