Tiger eye, Botswana-Brazilian-Prairie agate, filler and a sparklie. Don't know what it is, but it's softer than the others. Here's some pics... Thanks for looking. Jimmy

WOW!! Holy cow Jimmy, that stuff looks terrific!! That's a gorgeous agate, first pic, just sw of center, love the eyes on that one. The Tiger Eye is stunning, you did a really beautiful job on all of it. You going to try hand polishing that last one, it looks kind of cool, maybe you could bring out the shine. Dang, I have to stop looking here ... lol I'm picking out stones right and left, I could wrap that one ... or that one .. or that one .. LOL Totally awesome job!!

Very nice Jimmy. Gotta love that agate, and the quartz filler turned out well too. I'm also thinking "Ooh, there's a pendent AND necklace set in the tiger eye". Well done

i'm not trying to be a critic, yours rocks look awesome, but in your tiger eye am i right to say that i see little fractures every here and there? I am just wondering because i have a polish load coming out sometime this weekend with some tiger and in it, and despite my best efforts i still got some fractures in them. maybe its just something that happens and cant really be avoided

I think it's gold stone too, it's man made and very soft. I got some pre cut from Bearcreek, the ones I tried to tumble just desintagrated. Pretty stuff though.

Very cool looking Jimmy. Tiger eye and quartz are very difficult to polish without fracturing, especially when tumbled with agates. You did good man.

great bunch of rocks! very good shine, what kind of polish did you use, Jimmy?
first pic, almost center, a little right and down, love the orbicular stone! what is that?
tiger eye is always a favorite, i've had some of it fracture, but what pieces that don't are real eye catchers and make great jewelry too!
well done!

Thanks for the compliments! JKowalski33, yep there are a few fractures here and there, probably from the agates that I added in a later stage. Also, I had the Christmas lights on in the house and their reflection is seen in some of the rocks, especially the tiger eye. kim, cookie, If goldstone is man made this might not be it. Not sure where I found it, but it was either in my driveway or from one of two rivers near black rapids glacier. KD, For polish I used Cerium Oxide again, but went with Tripoli for a pre polish this time. Seven days of each. That one is a Botswana agate. Jimmy

I hate it when you guys post such excellent results with Tiger Eye. I cant get that kind of finish on it - and shapeswise - thats just "so tiger eye". What a batch. I tell you folk - I'll DO THAT one day Tiger Eye is my nemesis!!! Catch you laters. Andy
