this was a batch of odds and ends and some do-overs, these were in 60/90 for three weeks, a week in 120, a week 600 and two weeks in Aluminum Oxide, i am very pleased with the shine! (finally, a batch that shines!) i think i will start letting all my batches go longer in polish from now on! KD

Hey KD, I'm impressed! Those really turned out nice. I tend to get so impatient when I have a load in polish. I'll start thinking "Man, it must be at least a week by now!". I check my calander and it's been a day and a half.
WTG KD!

Awesome SHINE Excellent mix! What are the two banded agates near lower left? A lot of Sunset Jasper has been making an apperance latey. The more I see it, the more i like it! Jimmy

I am really surprised that you got such good results with such a varied mix of rocks. Awesome job. Some really great looking rocks there. Did you use pellets or some other cushioning during the later stages?

Wow KD , they do look very shiny . Great effort and result !!
I took a load out yesterday and some look good , others not so. Was the first load that I did not have the 600 grit for. So left them longer in 220 grit , but forgot to wash them in soap before the polish ( Bummer) !
Next load went in after longer in 220 grit and after soapwash. will check in a week time haha.
Good luck with the rest of your rocks
Jack

KD, you really did get a wonderful shine on those! Beautiful batch. I see a number of pendants in there, so I am betting you will be beading your little fingers off. Don't think I have to tell you we wanna see pics of them when you are finished! llana

Wow, they turned out excellent. A couple of days ago I had my shiniest batch come out and was really thrilled. But they aren't nearly as shiny as your batch. 2 weeks in the polish cycle.........hmmm. Worth a try, but that is the hardest stage for my patience. Worth a try though.
