Hope you feel better and you don't get the crappy crud when you are finally over it like I did.
I haven't seen that much snow since I lived in Rhode Island!

Just glad my driveway did not look like that.

Here's another photo. Heating fuel company said I had to shovel a path from my driveway to my fuel tank. 75' through 4' drifts. I asked the person who Plowed me out if he could use his plow to make a path. He made a path wide enough for the fuel driver to back within 8' of my tank for no extra charge. I love how so many are helping others in this crazy WI Winter we are having.

I'm glad you can now get fuel! Our snow was also too light to compact (made snow blowing easier, though), but now that the clouds are on the march east, we get a few days of above-freezing temps to make snowballs more practical. Sun finally out after 4 days, drive and roads plowed, so I'm better able to enjoy the beauty while our trees still are looking a lot like yours... Still, this is bizarre weather for February here.

Very pretty view.
I had to go to Amherst today for comfort food. Only way there is via a County road. In one area there were piles of snow along the road over 6' deep. The road was OK, as long as one drove with care. Lots of hills/curves.

This vortex has sat over us for the entire month of Feb, last time we had a month of this brutal cold in Feb was 40 years ago according to environment Canada. That's what's causing the relentless snow your having and the rains in California, the jet stream just isn't pushing up here. We had a good 2 days lol but heading back down to the -40s with the windchill starting tonight. My guess expect more snow or rain for some of you, hang in there. I read about ducks??? showing up in Calgary odd with this weather. The early trip back didn't pan out for at least 50 of them, guessing they maybe froze, disease, poisoned or starved? They are looking into it.
