Beautiful! I really like the design on the side It was so thick, I had to add a thick pattern wire. The others will need some thick, wide wire, too.

Would you just once produce something where it didn't look great? Hope you're feeling better.

Would you just once produce something where it didn't look great? Hope you're feeling better. You don't really think I'm going to post the duds, do you? I'm getting there. I haven't been so sick in a long time. Because of my compromised immune system, I'm really careful about stuff, but everyone else caught it and I knew I wouldn't be able to dodge it. Oh well.

Beautiful work, of course! That is a thick sucker, though, isn't it? Wasn't no match for Ms. Tela!

Tela, your work is so "balanced" and the proportions are always so tasteful. I've shown pics of your wrappings to several beginners so they will know what to aspire for.

Beautiful work, of course! That is a thick sucker, though, isn't it? Wasn't no match for Ms. Tela! It was 9mm thick. I just finished number 2. It is a triangle and all the corners take a drop down to the point. But, until you get to the point, it's thick. I think any one who cabs should have to set one of their own stones so they can see what's important.

Agreed. There's nothing worse than try to set a stone, wrapping or smithing, when it has uneven thickness.

Wow! Big and beautiful! I really like the pattern wire for this wrap. The uneven girdle isn't noticeable at all in the photos. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!

I like the use of pattern wire too. The overall design is great.
