Totally splendiferous!! I would never have the patience to see that through to completion, even if it only took a fraction of that time. Very innovative, and you did a great job on it. A piece of art! Thanks rockpickerforever. I appreciate the compliment.

That is absolutely outstanding! (I had to pick a word that was different than rockjunquie 's. ) It boggles the mind to see what you've done. I see how you did that... Well, I say it's stellar, and I mean it too. All those compound angles make my brain hurt. Thanks Lee. It just takes time (and a little patience).

Thanks James. You should try it! All you need is a few rocks and a month or so with nothing else to do. I have tons of rock. Time is another story.

I can't find proper words to describe your project, that haven't already been used. Certainly a piece that will be appreciated by all who see it. The nice part of that, it will last forever. Thanks Larry! I have 3 kids - one more bowl/dish to make. Hope I live long enough😊.

That is awe-inspiring! My brain is reeling trying to calculate the angles to grind some of those edges. Great work!

I recall this pentagonal candy box when you firstly posted it. Back then I was overwhelmed by the complexity of the project, by the precision needed and by the geometry knowledge required to achieve it. And I still am. The project would be complex even if paper thin slabs would have been used, but taking into account the thickness of the slabs for a perfect fit along the edges is mind blowing.
Thank you for posting it again.

You should re-post photos of your fantastic jewel-studded sword for the newer members to see.
