Hey John. I kinda thought it looked sparkly and I was gonna call it "CANDY APPLE RED METALFLAKE", a car color invented by a guy here in the Bay Area back in the '60's. Yea, in fact, I'm changing my entry to this one.

ed every time i look at this stone it reminds me of a caddy i had it was a 71 fleetwood fully loaded a real led sled it was a lighter gold color and it had small gold metal flakes in the paint haha on a sunny day you could see this wheel commin for miles it looked like a giant gold bar ---it was the biggest car i was ever in you could put 6 bodies in the trunk no sweat hahaha--it even had fold down foot rest's in the back seat ---a real pimp mobile hahaha---had something like a 491 in it and would get wheels for a halfa block wish i still had it i sold it to a young kid he wraped it around a telephone pole got out and walked home hahaha was a well made car

Sounds like it was a nice cruiser. I can see you driving around smokin' a few listening to the Doors on your 8 track. Oh wait, that was me in my '66 Pontiac Ventura. What a boat that was. Those cars are gone forever. Sure was a lot of fun though. Ed

"Candy Apple Gold" My brother-in-law painted an old truck that color, it was awesome. The truck belonged to one of their car club members that died in a fire. All the members got together and finished the truck for his 5 year old son.

Well, my truck is an orangy/red color that when washed and waxed looks similar to that color, so my entry is llana's truck Unfortunately, that truck sure doesn't look that color now. Maybe I should win the stone (hint, hint )to wirewrap and hang around my rearview mirror to remind me to wash it more often because it really is a pretty color underneath all that dirt and grime! llana

Congrats Sands on the creation of yet another impressive rock. It reminds me of that sparkling garnet sand I scooped up last week at Cosy Nook.
"Sparkle Delight" is the name I give it
