Some time ago someone asked for photo's of rocks as they would be found in the field. I can't remember who it was but do think it's a great idea. Here is a photo of some of the Ohio flint a great friend from Ohio gave me back in August. I didn't wet it so it would look as natural as possible. Tom

Woo-Hoo!!!! WHOA!!! Thank you so much! This is the best photo I have seen yet and I am very thankful! Now I might be able to see the stuff lying around and can get a few pieces. Harry P.S. Hate to ask....but.... would it be possible to get a higher quality photo? A very large photo? Perhaps 1024 X 678?

It sure looks the same John! I think it's a very good material for newbies on their first try at tumbling too.It was one of my first and it just keeps getting better and better! I don't know why more people don't use it because some of it has every color of the rainbow in one single piece.Of course that type is getting harder to get a hold of but it is still out there. Anyway,,,,I love the stuff!! Tom

I qot 10 lbs. of Flint Ridge flint on ebay too a while back. It's still in the box it was shipped in. Just waiting for weather warm enough to get out and cut rocks so I can slice some up. I can't wait!
