I remember this, glad you were able to fix it for him! This pendant reminds me of some earrings I gave to my granddaughter. They went through the washer I don't know how many times!

Nice job, must be great having a grandma that is so handy! My gram just spoiled me rotten and stuffed my pockets full of candy. I miss that lady.

Al I loved my grandparents on my mom's side to death (never knew my other grandparents), but it was my great grandparents that really spoiled us. Whenever we visited, they would slip us a 5, which was a TON of money back then, especially for a kid. We would then run to the country store and buy root beer barrels and other stuff and still have plenty left for the week. My parents always frowned on them doing it and tried to protest since they were on a fixed income, but I think they enjoyed it as much as we did. They were so nice to us. Fresh from scratch hot cocoa, fresh strawberries, lots of little kid treasures like trading cards from laundry soap- stuff like that.
