I have the money. Should I pull the trigger and order one?

I think you already know the answer.

It’s my retirement money. What is better than cabbing in retirement?

Cabbing has been keeping me occupied, along with frequent excursions.

Retired, or about to?
Just a hobbyist?
I’d get the six-inch unit and find a better use for the extra grand.

I am also more partial to 6 inch machines. If you want to be able to make cabs with inside curves on the perimeter a 6 inch machine will serve you better. If HUGE cabs is your goal stick with 8 inch. My 2 cents, and worth every penny of it.

I agree with what they said about the six inch. I am thinking of getting a couple of 4 inch wheels to do inside curves.

I already have two 6” cabbing machines. The 8” would be for production.

I remember when mine looked like that. I found the hand rests to be awkward and replaced them with foam pipe insulation slipped over the edge of the trays. It gives me more room and cushions my hands as I work. Have fun with that bad boy...

It won’t look so shiny and clean very long. I just need to get some 5 gal buckets and attach the light.

Let this be a lesson to you about what happens when you ask opinion from toxic enablers! Not many things better to do in retirement.

That rock grinder is a beast. I got it on 3/15. It took me a couple hours to set it up the way I wanted. Today is 3/18 and here is what I have cabbed so far. Sorry about the light reflections. I need to take some photography classes.
