figured i'd give Mr. Sands a week off here and offer up one of my grinder creations. this is agate (obviously), lots of nice reds and banding. i know it's not a patch on what Sands produces, but i don't think the winner will be disappointed with this rock (after all, it's free). it's high polished on the front, light polished on the back, nice for wire wrap or pocket stone. same rules as Sands, one member, one vote, will put up the names for votes next wednesday. i am taking Sands advice and giving a little more time due to the holiday and letting all your brains stew (pickle?) a little over the holidays! good luck, happy new year (year of the Rooster coming)! The design kinda looks like its running off the right side of the stone, so how about...
MOLTEN CANDLE
It even has a wick right in the middle.

Drop to Eternity. One step and it is a long way down. I like your touch with the cabochets. Well done.

I don't know where all of you see what you see but I know for sure what I see is: "1991 Dime" Tom I don't know, Tom. But it kinda looks like 1997. Personally, I was overwhelmed by the choice of background. How does she achieve those lovely scallop effects?

Ever held up a mirror in front of a mirror and been amazed by the endless reflections? That's kind of what this looks like to me, but with some sort of image trapped in the midst of the reflections. So my name is...
"Trapped in a Mirror"
