All of them are great but the last is vera interesting! Thanks, I am the the ultimate Palm root fan. What i have learned is: do NOT leave your dlab on the trimsaw , Any discolored oil will blemish the white And weaken the contrast. White/ black Which is one of the major appeals of the palm root. The white will absorb and STAIN all the way through. Live And Learn

Yeah I agree with your 'soapy' comment about the Maligano - this is why I made the comparison to marble. I get that soapy feeling from picasso marble but never really had a word for it. That being said it's just like every other mis-labeled material - once the name is established, good luck changing it, leopardskin 'jasper' for instance.

Love all your cabs, great, great stuff! HOWEVER - what REALLY intrigues me -what is the white stone with black flecks that you use as a backdrop in the first and last photo? I have a very similar stone I found on my brother's property in Maryland (it has some rose quartz-y pink highlites in spots) and I would love to know the backstory on yours. Thanks!!
