 for our latest addition to the family  born this AM at 9:45. My neice's new baby, Noton David - that's Croatian for Nathaniel. His father is Croation. Newest baby I ever held. He was 3 hours old when this pic was taken. She had him at home, attended by 2 midwives after 1 hr. 45 minutes of labor. He's a cutie, for sure and I am almost positive he smiled at his old Aunt Granma when I was holding him.  Haven't quite finished the Binky strap yet. Thought I had bought an alligator clip at the hobby store but I didn't. It's made with dunk beads, crystals, silver beads and sodalite chips. Was hoping Noton would make his appearance Saturday - mine and my sister's birthday - but he was ready to say hello to the world today. Pretty nice birthday present, even if a couple of days early. llana llana |

Well congradulations are in order here for sure...what a cute baby....but aren't all babies cute?

what's croation? showing my ignorance of geography and mankind here but inquiring minds need to know. love that sweet baby - makes me want to brood too rose. llana that baby needs a great big rock too big for his mouth to bang on mama's furniture and practice his throwing skills for ball later . kim |

The little guy looks like he's smiling under that blankey. I predict a happy child! And with an Aunt Grammy like you, he's bound to be spoiled rotten. I love the binky string.Happy Bday to all 3 of you!

Thanks all. He is a cutie. I thought briefly about running out the door with him then I thought about those dirty diapers and decided to leave him with his parents. Makes me gag just thinking about it! I saw a pic of a binky strap a few months ago and had been planning to make some. Got another baby coming in April - my youngest nephew and his wife. This one is a girl, so she'll get a pink one. And, I don't plan on changing her dirty diapers either! llana |

Congratulations ... what a snug little bug! Man he looks comfortable!!!
I had to chuckle at the "Binkie" ... when my wife and I were dating, my Mom bought my wife (then my girl friend) a binkie. When my wife asked "what is this for?" for ... my Mom told her "if you want to suck on something ... suck on this and leave my son's neck alone". Talk about one hilarious look I got from my wife! It was one of those Kodak moments!!!
