That's a nice article to introduce somebody to fluorescent minerals. Last summer I gathered some Wyoming moss agate and as I was transferring it from a bucket to a barrel in the dark I noticed it's triboluminescence. At first I thought they were sparks but on closer examination it wasn't.

If we were able to carry the love and tolerance shown here into the world as a whole and get anyone to follow the example set, who knows what could be born from that?
